Fall Prevention Program
The Falls Prevention Program through CARE at LeMoyne is an exciting and valuable initiative made possible through a grant funded by The Onondaga County Office of the Aging and CARE. Erin Malay, PT, DPT comes to the program with years of experience in both fall prevention and geriatric care and a passion for caring for this population.
This program is currently being offered free of charge to seniors throughout the county. We are piloting the program at Brighton Towers, The Dunbar Center and the Jordan-Elbridge Community Center. Our mission is to bring valuable, evidence based education and exercise programs to those who need it most. We want to prevent tragedy from happening by being proactive rather than reactive.
This program meets weekly for 45-60 minutes. Participants are assessed for fall risk at the beginning of the session and again at the end. For more information or to bring our program to you please contact CARE at LeMoyne at 315-445-5445.
