About CARE
We are champions for all people in their later chapters of life, regardless of socio-economic status, education-levels, religious affiliations, sexual orientation or race. We provide education for students looking to enter the booming industry of eldercare. We are committed to providing education and resources not only for senior citizens, but for any individual or organization who supports them. All that we do is built on a foundation of spiritual, mental, financial and physical health, and we work tirelessly to create the same strong foundation for all seniors.

our leadership team

Michael Madden
For more than two decades, Mike Madden has made immeasurable contributions that helped his alma mater achieve unprecedented levels of success. In 2012, his long-standing support for business education at Le Moyne was recognized when the Madden School of Business was launched.

Lynn McMartin
Lynn has played an active role in the Syracuse community with her involvement with RLS (Regional Learning Services), Francis House and the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Community. She is dedicated to the CARE program as a former Le Moyne staff looking to stay involved in the community and aimed to help retirees of Le Moyne College.

Who CARE Serves
According to AARP, nearly 10,000 adults turn 65 every day. As technology, healthcare and society continues to evolve, our senior community is vital to our cultural health and economic growth. Roughly 70% of all disposable income in the United States will come from seniors over the next 5 years, and will have 47 times the net worth of their younger counterparts.
We are committed to providing resources and outlets to foster spiritual, financial, physical and mental health, as well as help all seniors continue evolving as people. We will help elder Americans find purpose and reinforce their personal identities and sense of self, regardless of their income level, geography or background.
Why Le Moyne?
This exploding population provides multiple avenues for Le Moyne College to play a vital role across our country. Career opportunities abound for students focusing on older generations in one of the most fertile areas of national job growth.
